Post-Task (Video 3)
This video shows you how to use the digital tool, Canva, to have your students create a flyer as part of a post-task activity. It presents a sample flyer that you can download as a pdf below in the activity. The video guides you in how to assess the flyer and what you should look for in evaluating your students' work.

Below are the key-elements of the video:
The Post-Task is the third phase of TBLT. It is used to memorise the forms that students have used before.
In our lesson, we asked students to create a film flyer. They can do this activity in class with classmates, on the computer, or at home alone or in groups.
If your students work with computers, they can use the Canva website.
In this way, a group of students can work on the same flyer and collaborate to create an interesting flyer. You can use the groups formed in the Pre-Task!
Ask your students to put everything they learned in the previous lessons into the flyer. We talked about film genres, but maybe your students learnt other words (director, actor, soundtrack, etc.). Maybe your students can also briefly tell the plot of the film. Ask them to do so!
When the handouts are ready, ask the students to present them to their peers, to explain why they chose that film with expressions expressing preference, agreement, disagreement, etc.
Other students can respond and make suggestions.
And you too, take note of your students' strong and weak aspects to give them feedback!
