This video introduces you to the module and outlines the goals of this module. The trainers, Emma and Jessica, take you through what you will learn in the upcoming units. In it you will learn more about obstacles of the TBLT method, what TBLT looks like in a classroom, the role of the facilitator/teacher and student, and strategies for online and blended classrooms.

Key elements of the video:
In Module 4 of the MOOC, we talk about how to use TBLT in lessons. We also look at the difficulties a teacher may have and the strategies a teacher can use.Module 4 has 3 learning objectives:
- Understand well how TBLT works and know how to use it;
- To understand how TBLT works with practical examples of lessons using this method;
- To create and adapt TBLT activities in lessons.
In Module 4, we put into practice what you have learnt so far. There are practical activities you can practice with.
Let's see now the topics we will study in this module.
- Difficulties in a TBLT lesson: In this part we see together some tips to improve your lessons and overcome difficulties;
- The phases ( = the different moments) of a TBLT lesson: Knowing these phases well enables you as a teacher to overcome difficulties;
- The role of the teacher and the students: in this part we see together how you should behave as a teacher and how your students should behave;
- Useful tips: how you should behave as a teacher if you have a very mixed class and how you can modify the lessons for your students.
You should work like this:
- Take the introductory quiz: it is useful to understand your strengths and weaknesses;
- Videos and activities: watch the videos and do the activities;
- Create: Design your own lesson using the TBLT method;
- Final quiz: fail the quiz to see what you have learnt.
